Here are a few frequently asked questions

Who will see my job advert?

Totaljobs attracts around 3.4 million jobseekers who visit the site over 6 million times per month, they work across 33 industries and span the entire UK. Have a look at totaljobs in your region or sector to see more specific details.

As a recruiter you can even target and email a group of jobseekers by region, sector or skills keyword.

How much does it cost to post a job?

We offer a variety of job postings from a branded job, featured job to a premium featured job. A single unbranded job post that you advertise yourself online via our e-business solution costs £99. This is the most cost effective and quickest way to advertise your role.

We also offer recruiters the option to feature jobs, embed video and use thier own design templates through our Account Managed service. See our rate card for more information.

What makes a good job ad?

A good job advertisement is easy to read, has bullet points and most importantly is informative.

Details to consider - What is the job? Where is it located? What is the salary? What are the skills/qualifications required? Are these desired or expected? What are the benefits with the role? What are the prospects within the role? What is the recruitment process? Closing date for applications? How to apply for the role?

If you're short of time then the most key things to include are, location, salary and job title.
Including as much information as possible may help filter out irrelevant candidates applying for the position and therefore decrease the number of applications and CV's that you have to sift through.
