The branded adverts and direct email were a huge success exposing the campaign to a large and previously untapped jobseeking audience. This type of advertising is refreshingly different and a great way to expose your employer branding online.
MORRISONS
We continue to receive a level of service that demonstrates a high level of commitment to both us as a client and to the people we are looking to employ. Totaljobs has been a cost effective and efficient solution that has helped us to identify the best people for the best roles.
ATKINS
The new map view … is brilliant. We recruit for a UK-wide sales force so location is very important to our potential employees. I really believe this will enhance our chances of recruiting the best sales people for us.
VOICE COMMERCE GROUP
Off the Bench
Totaljobs.com has joined forces with QPR in the Community Trust to develop an exciting and unique local programme to help the unemployed get back in to work.
‘Off the Bench’ seeks to help jobseekers from the W12 area who have been unemployed for 6 months or longer and are aged 35 or over. The free programme delivers practical skills, search and CV tips as well as role plays and practical sessions.
The programme also seeks to develop self-confidence, team work and motivation by using a mix of teaching and coaching led by totaljobs.com and QPR, but also involving local businesses and recruiters too.
Our progress
January 2012 sees the end of our first Off the Bench sessions. And we're delighted to say that the programme has been a success. We've seen 5 of the participants find work and have provided training and courses for all 12 Off the Bench programme users.
We'll provide more detail on the next steps for Off the Bench soon, but in the meantime, please see below for coverage we've received on Match of the Day.
Our partners
Off the Bench would not have been possible without invaluable assistance from key recruitment and training stakeholders in the W12 area. We'd like to extend our gratitude to Quest Search and Selection, the Learning People, Work Zone at Westfield, Club Wembley and LearnDirect.
Getting involved If you'd like to get involved in future Off the Bench programmes, please drop us an email to let us know you’re interested along with your area of expertise/interest and we’ll go from there.
We look forward to hearing how you can help us to make a real difference to the lives of jobseekers in your community.
