How we attract jobseekers

For the past three years totaljobs.com has attracted more jobseekers than any other UK recruitment website (Hitwise).

We attract over 3.7 million active online jobseekers, who generate over 2.1 million applications every month.

We have a variety of marketing techniques, including:

Search

Omnipresence on UK search engines, particularly Google search.jpgGoogle, to attract people actively looking for a job.

Totaljobs.com ranks first on generic search terms such as "jobs" but also performs well against a long tail of jobseeker search terms.

Recent research by Greenlight confirms that we have the best paid and organic search model in the recruitment sphere - high praise indeed!

Here's what they have to say about our search:

Email

Our engaging and, more importantly, relevant email email small.jpgcampaigns give our jobseekers the information they need when they need it.

From careers advice and top recruiter updates to how to get the most out of their totaljobs.com account, we've see the level of engagement grow and grow.

Our emails have great success too - email drives more applications than any other channel!

Advertising campaigns

In January 2011 we launched our first national TV and radio campaign, with great success.

The initial increase in our jobseeker numbers has been maintained throughout the year, improving brand recognition and user engagement!

September 2011 sees the start of our next campaign, with national TV (upweighted to prime-time) and our ads also run on 30 radio stations.
